Acquisition Extends Autodesk's Leadership in Structural Engineering

SAN RAFAEL, Calif., Jan. 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Autodesk, Inc. (NASDAQ: ADSK) today announced that it has completed the acquisition of Robobat for approximately $42.5 million in USD cash subject to a working capital adjustment.

SAN RAFAEL, Calif., November 15, 2007 — Autodesk, Inc. (NASDAQ: ADSK) today announced its intent to acquire Robobat, a privately held company based in Grenoble, France that specializes in analysis, design, and steel and concrete detailing software for the structural engineering industry.

Seminars were organized by Nikkei BP – the AEC professional publications, on 28/09/2007 in TOKYO and on 05/10/2007 in OSAKA. Over 300 people joined each event - architects, engineers, corporate managers, developers, building owners and all engaged in building industry.

Budapest, 8 – 9 October 2007: International Alliance for Interoperablility (IAI) organized another round of the IFC Certification Workshops. It was dedicated to the problem of import and export of the 3D geometric model.

Robobat (UK) Ltd will be demonstrating the workflow capabilities of ROBOT Millennium and Revit Structure at Autodesk Reseller Excitech's Structural Design Seminars in Manchester, Glasgow and London.

Robobat, leader in providing fine and mature analytical and CAD solutions to the engineering community, has obtained the status of “Microsoft Gold Certified Partner”.

During last AEC DevCamp (Autodesk Customization and Application Development Conference) in Boston, Robobat was invited to present company’s market leading developments in terms of creation of Add-ons for Revit®.

The ninth conference took place this year from 12 to 14 September in Barcelona. 22 companies (21 countries, 4 continents) attended the event, which was organised by Robobat’s Export team, providing an opportunity to discuss the export market, new products and the development of new partnerships and new distributors.
