  • Removal of the error in the ”autosave” function (error made in MP6),
    With the Autosave option active, if the “Save” (“Save As”) command was not called up after calculations, then first activation of autosave resulted in ascribing a zero value to calculation results.

Others:

  • Possibility to load projects saved in the STAAD format in which UK sections are used.
  • A tolerance value determined during generation of a model by adjusting it to the value defined by the user (it used to be twice as great).
  • Enabled saving of maps (isolines) for bottom result envelopes in a dxf/dwg format.

Steel element design:
General:

  • Improvement of the functionality of the dialog box for manual check of the buckling length.

BS 5950:2000 code:

  • Possibility to deactivate the buckling analysis.
  • Correction of calculations of wall slenderness for a box section defined by the user.
  • Correction of calculations of flexural-torsional buckling in the case of a cantilever.

PN code:

  • Correction of calculations of beams made of an I-section with different flanges.

Verification of steel connections:

  • Correction of recognition of a pinned support when a connection type is selected automatically.

RC Design:

  • Spread footing reinforcement:
    • correction of reinforcement generation for spread footings with two columns,
    • conditions for taking account of the minimum reinforcement applied for the top reinforcement of a spread footing.

Protection:

  • Correction of the protection error which consists in displaying untrue information about using an unauthorized version.

Calculations and results:

  • Correction of result saving and reading for very large projects (a file size with *.RT_  results over 2 GB)
    • considerable acceleration of calculations,
    • removal of the addressing error.

Verification of steel connections:

  • Angle connections with a gusset plate (CM66) –
    removal of an incorrect warning from a calculation note.
  • Column base (CM66, EC3) –
    correction of the replacement of directions for the check of transversal forces.
  • Welded trusses (EC3) –
    correction of verification of welds for diagonals inclined at an angle from the interval [50
    °, 60°].

RC Design:

  • Reinforcement of beams with prefabricated elements:
    • removal of the error that interrupts calculations giving the following information “no error message
  • Reinforcement according to the ACI code:
    • correction of the minimum reinforcement in the case compressive forces occur (forces taken into account only for values greater than 10% Ac*f’c;

Structure edition:

  • Acceleration of deletion of FE meshes.
  • OpenGL - improvement of memory management while working in two windows.

Calculations and results:

  •   Orthotropic slabs – making calculations independent from the length of the (orthotropy) direction vector.

Verification of steel connections:

  • Supplementation of calculations of a welded truss according to EC3 with the weld capacity check.
  • Consideration of the foundation weight in the column base calculations (according to PN).
  • Removal of the error of a result change when selecting a simplified note CM66(NF).
  • Consideration of more than one bolt row in calculations of “b2b”-EC3.

RC Design:

  • Slab required reinforcement:
    • correction of errors noted in the algorithm of slab reinforcement calculations, acceleration of calculations;
    • ”rounding up/down” to the minimum reinforcement for calculations without bending moments.
  • Beam reinforcement:
    • optimization of the calculation time for a list of RC beams;
    • correction of drawings of beam reinforcement for the BAEL code;
    • consideration of a load case acting outside the span.
  • Column reinforcement:
    • correction of the minimal reinforcement in particular situations of calculations according to PN;

  • Enabled opening of projects created using previous editions of the same version (previous Service Pack) without changing the arrangement of layouts
  • Keeping definitions of structure axes when opening files in the “repair“ mode.
Structure calculations:
  • Correction of wrong calculations in the PDELTA analysis for frames when the GAMMA angle occurs.
  • Correction of an unjustified change of the support condition for a bar adjoining to the edge of a slab with a defined linear support, for the 2D PLATE structure.
  • Correction of the error of changing the results for calculations when the load table is opened.

  • Correction of the execution error on opening the Inspector dialog box;

  • Enabled selection of fonts when working in the OpenGL mode;

Import/export:

  • Considerable acceleration of the structure import from the RCAD-Steel program.
  • No possibility to open IFC format files when working using Dutch, Spanish, Romanian, Russian, Ukrainian and Chinese languages;
  • Incorrect interpretation of UCS during import of DXF files;
