ROBOT Open Standard

ROBOT Open Standard (ROS) provides access to data structures and to virtually all of the ROBOT Millennium program functions from an external arbitrary programming language. This opens the possibility to create external applications that are fully integrated with the ROBOT Millennium program. ROBOT Millennium becomes an open system, easy for automation and integration with the remaining software installed on a user’s computer. ROS allows users to create additional specialized options that enlarge the ROBOT Millennium program capabilities and broaden the area of its application.

By means of a simple macro, a user may automate many labour consuming activities and adjust the manner of cooperation with the program to his or her specific own needs and preferences. ROBOT Open Standard also provides the possibility to integrate ROBOT Millennium with a variety of third party applications, such as MS Word® and MS Excel®.

ROBOT Open Standard  enables the use of ROBOT Millennium as an open platform on which complex solutions to both general and highly-specialized problems can be constructed

Technology in action

ROBOT Open Standard is implemented using the component based COM standard (Component Object Model) of Microsoft® . It is therefore compatible with all of the operating systems of the MS Windows® family and with all of the software created for that platform.
